Shackfuyu started life as a pop up that was intended to last until the next Winter. “Fuyu” translates to winter in Japanese.

However, we decided to make ourselves permenant after our guests called for it. Before we were Shack, the building was a pizzeria.

Tradition isn’t what we go for, great tasting food is. The Shackfuyu menu is a playground of cuisines designed to delight and surprise from start to finish, it’s been that way since the very beginning. We still serve up the famous Prawn Toast masquerading as okonomiyaki and of course the cult favourite Kinako French Toast.
