“If you want something done properly, best if you do it yourself” – true words and the approach we’ve taken to our new collab house beer – HIRO. Made with our great mates at DEYA Brewery, our new session IPA is a crisp, hazy beer made with mosaic, simcoe and a whip of citra hops clocking in at a cool 4.2% ABV. We created HIRO to pair perfectly with our ramen, complimenting the heavy umami flavours and usually a good bit of spice. These 500ml cans have been designed with DEYA’s killer artist Thom, who has created an homage to our mascot “Hiro” who features alongside DEYA’s wild signature croc.
To get here we invited the most beer-loving of our crew to visit the DEYA brewery and create something unique and just for us. We had a wicked time together going through the beer brewing process, creating the beer profile and even naming the beer ourselves. With the help of the top dudes at DEYA we collaborated on what works well and all their beer brewing expertise helped us get to where we are now (and yes, we certainly had a drink or two).
To celebrate the launch of HIRO we will also be selling limited edition DEYA x BONE DADDIES t-shirts and the first 100 bought will get a free can of HIRO session IPA. Available online from the Bone Daddies’ shop, so what exactly are you waiting for?
We hope you enjoy drinking it as much as enjoyed making it!
