Collab with Rosa’s Thai 01 August – 31 September 2025
Rosa’s Thai grew from the humble beginnings of a street stall on Brick Lane’s Sunday
market in the East End of London, which quickly became a local favourite. People loved
Saiphin’s fresh summer rolls and Thai curries. In 2008 Saiphin and Alex Moore bought an
old east end caff called ‘Rosa’s Cafe’ on Hanbury Street near Spitalfields market. They kept
the name and the sign, partly as a nod to English tradition, but mainly because they didn’t
have the means or money to change it. Rosa’s Thai was born.
More than 17 years later Rosa’s Thai still takes pride in bringing authentic dishes from
Saiphin’s native Thailand to the UK, using real family recipes passed down and perfected
through generations. We source and import the very best Thai produce, including tamarind
from Phetchabun province, said to be the sweetest in the world, for our famous Pad Thai;
extra high-fat coconut milk for the creamiest curries; fragrant Thai jasmine rice and curry
pastes made only for us, to Saiphin’s exacting recipe, in the family factory in Trang,
southern Thailand. Every recipe is still developed and approved by Saiphin – including
meticulous taste testing and the rigorous sourcing of ingredients.
Today, there are over 40 Rosa’s in London and across the UK in Liverpool, Leeds, Cardiff,
Birmingham, Manchester, York, Nottingham, Exeter, Bath, Leamington Spa, Oxford,
Glasgow, Edinburgh, Guildford, Kingston, Norwich, Bristol, Reading and Cheltenham.
Rosa’s Thai is available to book online but we are relaxed and welcome walk-ins at all
times. You can place an order to collect yourself on the Rosa’s website. Or enjoy Rosa’s
